Walk-in Interview on 5th April, 2018 at 11 am for a JRF Position at the Molecular Biology and Basic Research Division, Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre and Research Institute (SGCC&RI), Kolkata

Applications are invited for a JRF position under Dr. Somsubhra Nath in a project of West Bengal State Council of Science and Technology (ST/P/S&T/9G-21/2016) (Project Title: Impact of BCR-ABL mutations on front-line tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy: an East Indian cohort study) awarded by Department of Science and Technology, Government of West Bengal.

Arrow Post: One Junior Research Fellow
Arrow Project Duration: Appointment will initially be made for 1 year and subjected to annual review for further extension, based on the research progress and accomplishments, for 3 years or till end of project
Arrow Fellowship: As per DST guidelines
Arrow Eligibility: First class M.Sc. degree or equivalent in any stream of Biology with at least 55% marks.
Arrow Desirable: Applicants having a valid rank in CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE examination.

Arrow Research Assistant (Social Work/ Sociology): Graduate in social work/ Sociology from a recognized University, 3 (Three) years work experience in Social/ Community work from a recognized institute or Master’s degree in Social Work/ Sociology from a recognized University. Remunaration and other terms & conditions as per NCDIR guidelines. Appointment purly contractual basis.
Arrow Data Entry Operator: B.Sc. Speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer. Experience in MS office, SPSS and management of data generated in laboratories. Remunaration and other terms & conditions as per NCDIR guidelines. Appointment purly contractual basis.
Arrow Blood Bank Technician: H.S./ B.Sc, 2- year DMLT/ DLT- Tech from Govt. recognized Institute, computer conversant with preferably one year experience in Blood Banking with components.
Arrow Pathology Technician: H.S./ B.Sc, 2- year DMLT/ DLT- Tech from Govt. recognized Institute, computer conversant with preferably Histopathology exposure in any reputed institute.
