| Any
self respecting organization can never really claim
to be the best unless it keeps acquiring better
technology, better people and better know-how to
improve its services.
After the
expansion of Radiotherapy services last year,
the Vision for 2006 is to consolidate the services
of the Departments of Surgical Oncology and Diagnostics,
by construction of an ultramodern Surgical Wing
with planned pre- & post operative wards,
state of the art OTs and another ITU, in close
proximity to the updated and expanded Diagnostic
wing, to save time, and manpower.
There is also
a drive to integrate the Information Systems of
the Hospital in 2006 on a common platform with
a common server base for ease of information entry,
storage & retrieval. For this, a comprehensive
project has been drawn up for implementation of
Hospital Management Information Systems, as per
standard norms, inclusive of all patient service
areas. This is expected to yield massive savings
in terms of manpower and costs.
